It is with this epistle I welcome you to Catholic Comprehensive Community College online. If you are new to this webpage, you just entered into a very special college. CCCC is a close-knit community that promotes the accademic and technical development of all students in a safe and friendly environment. Our 4 bee rules are Be safe, be respectful, be responsible and be a light.
Our dedicated staff in both accademic and non accademic sections serve approximately 240 students every accademic year in six departments. In addition to the core curriculum, the college offers gifted and learning support services such as sports and entertainment.
In 2010, The college established the information technology department offering an only diploma course. This came in order to mordenize and develop a think tank and the research agency for the institution through the creative information gathering, usage and many more to all other departments. Currently There are 5 qualified instructors handling all the IT related tasks as well as teaching.
We try by all means to make sure we are up to date in today's technology and innovation, for you can see how young we are at this department. all trends in Information technology in both Lesotho, Africa or overseas are foreseen in our department. it is evolved to be the role model to the entire college, and thus we are.
Information technology meets a big issue when it comes to information getting leaked. client manipulation activities
cyber bullying, cyber terrorism, social engineering activities including phishing attacks e.t.c.
Catholic comprehensive community college is the only college in Lesotho where we teach students how to ethically hack into systems and repair the hacked systems; break into authorised networks and many more.
We implement skilled professional who understands and knows how to look for weaknesses and vulnerabilities in target systems and uses the same knowledge and tools as a malicious hacker, but in a lawful and legitimate manner to assess the security posture of a target system(s).
Our Information Technology Diploma course credential certifies individuals in the specific network security discipline of Ethical Hacking from a vendor-neutral perspective. We also implement secure software engineers, network admins with security in mind. This is because of the research we conducted that many programmers focus on the functionality of their software and leave security aside.
